calibration of scanner --calibration
1 Before using the scanner, it is best to calibrate it first
most scanners are shipped with a set of scanning correction plates
take Microtek scanmaker as an example,
will be attached with Agfa it8 (one piece for reflector, if there is a mask for scanning transmission, another piece of correction film will be attached.)
start the scanner, preheat it for more than 30 minutes, and then correct the reflected and transmitted drafts according to the instructions of the manual of each scanner
2. In the product package of CorelDRAW, as a rule, a test piece
(scannerh target) of the reflection draft is attached, which can also be used to correct or test the accuracy of the scanner
the correct scanning result should be accurate color and clear gradation of gray scale
eliminate the color deviation of the scanner
sometimes when scanning the image, the phenomenon of color deviation will be suspected. At this time, you can make a test
to determine whether the scanner causes color deviation. If the problem is in the scanner,
then you can use a small test of protoshop to correct all images scanned with the scanner
1. Use the file> new command to create a file of 15cm x 3 cm x 72 DPI
2. Press the D key to return the system to the default values of black foreground color and white background color
3. Select the gradient tool,
set the mode to foreground to background, type=liner
4. Press the shift key to pull out a black-and-white gradient from left to right in the file
5. Select the image> adjust> posterize instruction, and set the number of gradients to 11
6. Get a gray scale table with 11 levels
7. After printing with the file> print command,
scan and save the printed gray scale table with the scanner
8. The main features of using win are: ① open the information panel with the command of windows> show info of a single 5V power supply
use the mouse to walk upstream of the gray scale image and observe the RGB reading on the information panel
9. RGB readings on each gray scale should be the same, otherwise there is a problem with the scanner itself,
will cause different RGB values and color deviation
l0. Turn on Image> adjust> levels
(or the curves function, adjust the mid tone value of each color palette until there are no other colors at all.)
11. Press the [save] button to save the levels (or curve) setting
12. Each time you want to use the same scanner in the future, after the scanning is completed,
use the image> adjust> levels command to open the relevant dialog box, then press the "load" button,
load the levels (or curves) settings related to the originally stored scanner, and press OK.
can eliminate the color deviation caused by the scanner
1 Underlay: fill the whole layout with pictures or text to make it shading
2. Spread page: enlarge the text and cover more than two pages, and arrange it horizontally to make the whole page look wider
3. Anti white: in order to make the picture or text appear more clearly on the darker color block,
usually use the function of anti white to make the text and text not filled with any color, and express it in a comparative way
4. Yin and Yang characters: in order to make the characters clearly displayed in color blocks with different depths,
use this, but the actual number of cavities used depends on the productivity of the project. The effect can make the characters show darker colors in light color areas; Light in dark areas
5. Image embossing: one of the effects often used in layout design. The image is on the upper layer and the word is on the lower layer. If the graphics and texts overlap,
the overlapping text will be covered by the image
6. Word pressure map: Contrary to the effect of the previous description, the word is on the upper layer and the image is on the lower layer. If the graphics and texts overlap,
the pictures at the overlap will be covered by the text
7. Bleeding: in the layout of the layout, in order to expand the layout and attract readers' attention,
break the format of the layout border, and enlarge the picture to cover part or all of the page edges
bleeding can avoid exposing white edges when the full version is available
8. Fade: reduce the brightness of the whole picture
9. Reverse: arrange the same picture in different directions in two different layouts
10. Symmetry: arrange the same picture in different directions in the same layout
11. Gradient: make the color of a certain color block or area appear from dark to light, or then someone will want to know the hierarchical change from light to deep
12. Fade: fade the tone of the picture from deep to light. The fading direction can be changed according to your needs,
for example: from left to right, from bottom to top
13. Remove background: delete unused objects and backgrounds in the picture to highlight the theme in the picture
14. Exception: enlarge the picture and break through the layout format on the layout,
make the layout look more lively and change, and directly attract the attention of readers
